Re: Concert by the Nyaho/Garcia Duo in the home of Brian and Carol Gregory, perfomed on a Fandrich & Sons Model 185 (6'1") grand and a Steinway Model B:

"I'm writing to thank Darrell once again for taking the time to come out to fix the C# key on my Steinway. The evening was a HUGE success, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Kathryn Heafield was here and said I did a terrific job describing the essence of a Fandrich & Sons piano. My clients are "investors" and many of them love to hear stories about local businesses....especially those that are "Family" operated. I told them that I would buy stock in your company if I could, and that offered up a hearty chuckle from the audience just before the concert began! Nyaho and Suzie loved your piano, and were quite surprised at the price range you are asking for such a fine instrument. I'm sorry you weren't able to join us last night. I want to thank you, again, for your personal touch and interest in helping to make these evenings at my home so special! Your efforts leave a feeling of warmth and comfort. The pride and concern that you exhibit in your work not only allows me to relax, but it helps the performers to explore freely the pieces they perform. Both Suzie and Nyaho raved about the sound coming from the pianos, and told me this had to be one of the most special performance evenings they have had!"
